"Let none say, 'God has blessed us with money and possessions,' and then live as if they and their God were alone in the world. Possessions are not God's blessing and goodness, but the opportunities of service which God entrusts to us." Dietrich Bonheoffer
The Heart in Hand Thrift Shop at St Paul UCC is open from 10-2 every Tuesday, Thursday, and the second Saturday of the month. In addition to providing a low-cost clothing option for area residents affected by the economic downturn, all profits will be donated to local helping agencies.

"RE-MEMBER, a non-profit tax exempt organization, has assisted the people of the Oglala Lakota Nation since 1998 through the efforts of thousands of volunteers comprised of singles, couples, and mission groups (Adult and Youth) from churches, high schools, colleges and corporations. Our volunteers come for week-long work vacations with an emphasis on cultural exchange. We believe that in addition to assisting the people of Pine Ridge Indian Reservation (SD) with material goods, the strongest way to promote positive change in one of the poorest areas in the United States is to build relationships. Through this relationship-building, our volunteers will become advocates to stand in solidarity with the Lakota people." For more information about RE-MEMBER visit:http://www.re-member.org/
